WEPAY, a Tunisian startup specializing in PayTech, is proud to announce the official launch of TAPPY, the first Soft POS solution in Tunisia, based on Tap-To-Pay technology. This innovative solution transforms Android smartphones and tablets into contactless payment terminals, offering a revolutionary alternative to traditional physical POS terminals.

With TAPPY, merchants and businesses can now accept contactless payments by bank card without having to invest in a traditional POS terminal. This solution revolutionizes the market by eliminating the constraints of rental, maintenance, and management of physical terminals. Available in four languages (French, Arabic, Tunisian dialect, and English), TAPPY offers an intuitive interface that allows:

  • Entering the payment amount and accepting contactless payments
