Wajahni: The Ultimate Academic Orientation Event in Tunisia

Wajahni, the largest academic orientation fair in Tunisia, took place on July 6 and 7, 2024, at the Tunis City of Culture.

This event primarily targets bachelors and students seeking to clarify their career paths, as well as parents looking to guide their children. Over 50 universities from diverse fields (architecture, audiovisual, design, business, engineering, etc.) were present, including ESAD Tunis, ULT Tunisie, MSB, Central University, and Dauphine Tunis University. This event allows universities to showcase their expertise in an increasingly diversified and competitive academic environment.

The majority of participating universities were private institutions, with the exception of INSAT. Sahar Khemiri, a member of the Junior Enterprise INSAT (JEI) club, represented INSAT. JEI is an entrepreneurship club founded in 2005, aiming to introduce students to professional life.

In addition to universities, training centers such as the École pratique de commerce were also present. This center is part of the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce and Export Development.

Other notable attendees included Aladin Legault d'Auteuil, commercial counselor at the Canadian Embassy in Tunisia, and Worldwide Studies, a pedagogical consulting service offering opportunities to study abroad in over 40 countries, including the United States, England, Canada, France, and Switzerland.

The cherry on top of the event was the various conferences, led by public figures such as Emir Ben Zayed and Hamza Belloumi, who animated a conference titled "The 1% Club," where he shared tips with young attendees on developing skills outside of university degrees.
