Central Bank of Tunisia Revokes MITIGAN CIB's Credit Information Activity Approval
The Central Bank of Tunisia has withdrawn the approval granted to MITIGAN CIB for the exercise of credit information activity.
The decision was made by the Governor on March 17, 2026. It comes as a result of the company's failure to commence operations within the regulatory timeframe. According to the statement, MITIGAN CIB did not comply with the maximum deadline set by Article 30 of Decree-Law No. 2022-2 of January 4, 2022, which governs the organization of credit information activity in Tunisia. This text establishes the conditions for exercising this activity, including the deadlines for operational deployment after obtaining approval.
