Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT) Records 2,935 Recruitments of Tunisian Candidates

Between January 1st and September 30th, 2024, the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT) recorded 2,935 recruitments of Tunisian candidates following 102 job offers issued by foreign institutions.

Among the published job offers, 25 interviews were organized, including 15 in-person at the ATCT headquarters, 5 remotely, and 5 in the form of practical tests.

The health sector dominated the recruitments with 1,022 medical and paramedical staff, representing 35% of the total number of placed candidates. Education followed with 757 candidates, administration with 221, cultural and sports activities with 176, and finally, industry with 129 recruitments.

From a geographical perspective, Germany and Canada were the top recruiting countries, with 542 and 520 Tunisians hired, respectively. The Sultanate of Oman, France, and Saudi Arabia also stood out with 401, 307, and 306 recruitments, respectively.

In 2024, the ATCT also strengthened triangular and south-south cooperation. In the first half of the year, 14 Tunisian experts were sent to Jordan and Guinea for missions aimed at promoting exports and supporting south-south cooperation.

Furthermore, the agency organized workshops and training sessions for 94 officials from African and Arab countries, consolidating the exchange of expertise in strategic sectors.

The ATCT continues to supervise four triangular cooperation projects in partnership with the Islamic Development Bank, targeting priority sectors such as health, agriculture, food security, and digitalization of financial services, benefiting countries like Comoros, Guinea, Chad, and Djibouti.
