SNDP-AGIL CEO Denies Gas Bottle Shortage Crisis in Tunisia
The CEO of SNDP-AGIL, Khaled Bettine, declared on Monday, January 6, 2025, that Tunisia is not experiencing a crisis related to the availability of domestic gas bottles. He specified, on National Radio, that the filling centers in Bizerte, Radès, and Gabès are operating at full capacity, with extended working hours to meet demand.
According to him, the recent shortage is mainly due to the delay in unloading a shipment of liquefied gas at the port of Bizerte, a problem caused by the bad weather conditions of the past few days.
It's worth noting that the phenomenon of shortages in Tunisia began in the summer of 2022, including white sugar, vegetable oil, coffee, rice, butter, and bottled mineral water at certain periods.
