Four Innovative Projects Selected for "Lead4Green" Program to Promote Eco-Entrepreneurship in Tunisia
Four innovative projects have been selected as part of the "Lead4Green" call for projects, launched by Greenov'i to promote eco-entrepreneurship in Tunisia.
This program, funded by the European Union through the "Tunisia Green & Sustainable" initiative and implemented by Expertise France in collaboration with several Tunisian institutions, aims to support the creation of green businesses and strengthen the capacities of support structures.
The selected projects are:
- "Women Go Green 2" by Redstart Tunisie, which promotes female entrepreneurship in green and circular sectors, particularly in inland regions.
- "OST Goes Green" by Open Startup Tunisia, which offers comprehensive support to green project holders.
- "Oasis and Solidarity Forests" by Shanti, which develops sustainable ecosystems in northwest and southwest Tunisia.
- The "Incubation Program of Lab'ess in Tunis", which focuses on creating sustainable economic opportunities.
With over 160 applications and 80 eligible projects, this call for projects demonstrates the growing interest in eco-entrepreneurship in the country. The selected initiatives will benefit from a total financial support of €1.3 million to accelerate the ecological transition in Tunisia.
