Three Tunisian Public Training Institutions Receive "Maharat" Quality Assurance Certificates
Three public training institutions in Tunisia received their "Maharat" quality assurance certificates on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The ceremony took place in Tunis, under the auspices of the General Directorate of Training and Development within the General Committee of the Public Service.
The distinguished institutions are the National Center for Training and Development (CENAFOP), the National Center for Pedagogical Training of Public Health Officials (CNFPCS), and the General Directorate of Planning, Cooperation, and Training of the Ministry of Equipment.
This initiative is part of the "Support for the Modernization of the Evaluation and Training System for Tunisian Civil Servants" project (MFP), a program implemented in partnership between Tunisia and Germany. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the GIZ in collaboration with the Tunisian government.
The objective of this initiative is to improve the quality of public services in Tunisia by establishing a framework for evaluation and training that meets current requirements. The strategy is based on two axes: strengthening the skills of civil servants through an optimized training system and implementing personalized performance monitoring to better target development needs. Through this approach, public officials will benefit from structured guidance, enabling continuous improvement of their skills and effectiveness in serving citizens.
