US Visa Application Guidelines Emphasized at Press Conference in Tunisia

Valid Passport Requirement
A valid passport with at least six months' validity from the intended date of entry is required. No specific biometric passport is required.
New Appointment and Payment System
Since February 8, 2025, a new appointment and payment system has been implemented to simplify and secure the procedure.
Interview Rescheduling
Any request to reschedule an interview must be made at least one week in advance. For business visas (B1/B2), no priority treatment is provided, so it is essential to schedule an appointment well in advance.
New Anti-Fraud Measures
A new device will be applied starting May 1, 2025, to limit fraud involving intermediaries. Applicants are invited to use only official channels to avoid any risk of cancellation or rejection.
Application Fees and Validity
The application fee is $185 (approximately 611 Tunisian dinars), and the visa validity can reach up to 10 years, depending on the type of stay.
