Vehicle Sticker Prices for 2025 in Tunisia Announced

The prices of vehicle stickers for 2025 in Tunisia have been set based on the fiscal power of vehicles and their type of fuel (gasoline, diesel, or liquefied petroleum gas - LPG). Vehicle owners must pay for the sticker before the following deadlines: February 5, 2025, for vehicles belonging to legal entities (companies, public institutions), March 5, 2025, for vehicles with even license plates belonging to individuals, and April 5, 2025, for vehicles with odd license plates and motorcycles belonging to individuals.

The tariffs vary according to the fiscal power of the vehicle. For example, for a fiscal power of 1 to 4 horsepower, the sticker will cost 65 TND for gasoline-powered vehicles, 215 TND for diesel-powered vehicles, and 390 TND for LPG-powered vehicles.

Prices increase with fiscal power. For vehicles with 5 to 7 horsepower, the tariffs are 130 TND for gasoline, 280 TND for diesel, and 455 TND for LPG. For a power of 8 horsepower, the sticker is priced at 180 TND (gasoline), 330 TND (diesel), and 505 TND (LPG). Vehicles with 9 horsepower will have a tariff of 180 TND (gasoline), 405 TND (diesel), and 580 TND (LPG), while those with a fiscal power of 10 to 11 horsepower will pay respectively 230 TND, 455 TND, and 630 TND depending on the fuel used.

For more powerful vehicles, prices become significantly higher. Owners of vehicles with 12 to 13 horsepower will have to pay 1050 TND (gasoline), 1275 TND (diesel), and 1450 TND (LPG). For vehicles with 14 to 15 horsepower, the amounts are 1400 TND (gasoline), 1625 TND (diesel), and 1800 TND (LPG). Finally, for vehicles with 16 horsepower and above, including sports cars, the sticker costs 2100 TND for gasoline, 2325 TND for diesel, and 2500 TND for LPG.

A valid tax declaration is required for payment of this tax, thereby strengthening fiscal control in Tunisia. These fixed prices should bring some stability to Tunisians, despite the current economic difficulties related to the cost of living.
