UNESCO Chair Dedicated to Higher Education for Sustainable Development in Africa Established at the University of La Manouba

The agreement establishing the fifth UNESCO Chair in Tunisia was officially signed on June 25, 2024, at the Rectorate of La Manouba, in the presence of Hélène Guiol from the UNESCO Office in Rabat and Majid Cherni from the National Commission for UNESCO in Tunisia.

This initiative marks a significant step forward for Tunisian universities. It crowns the efforts of a dedicated team from the Higher Institute of Accounting and Business Administration-University of La Manouba (ISCAE-UMA), supported by Tunisian, European, and African partners from various sectors, who believe in Africa's immense potential.
