Saudi Space Agency Partners with World Economic Forum to Establish "Centre for Space Futures"
The Saudi Space Agency has signed a partnership agreement with the World Economic Forum to establish the "Centre for Space Futures", a specialized international center focused on space-related domains. The agreement was signed between Mohammed Altamimi, CEO of the Saudi Space Agency, and Jeremy Jurgens, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum.
The "Centre for Space Futures", set to open its doors in autumn 2024, will be hosted by the Saudi Space Agency and aims to facilitate public-private discussions on space collaboration, incorporating the best practices of the Forum and its communities in the global space sector. The center will generate contributions to accelerate space technologies.
