Office Plast Announces 2025 Financial Results and Plans for Capital Increase

Office Plast has announced that its board of directors has approved the financial statements for the 2025 fiscal year. The revenue (excluding taxes) stood at 34,324 MTND, remaining relatively stable compared to 2024 (34,926 MTND). The operating result was 2,411 MTND (2,719 MTND in 2024). The year ended with a loss of 1,414 MTND due to the fire that occurred in June 2025 at the storage facilities. The losses, including inventory and assets, totaled 5,745 MTND. The insurance premiums received to date have covered an amount of 4,209 MTND, pending the final settlement of the case. Without this incident, the accounts would have shown a profit of 0.122 MTND.

Shareholders' Meeting and Capital Increase

Shareholders are convened to a double general meeting, ordinary and extraordinary, on April 29, 2026, to deliberate on a capital increase. This recapitalization will take place in two tranches and will amount to a total of 7,331 MTND.

  • The first tranche will consist of the issuance of 3,665,541 new shares, to be subscribed by existing shareholders and holders of subscription rights, at a ratio of one new share for every four old shares. The issue price will include the nominal value plus an issue premium to be fixed by the extraordinary general meeting.
  • The second tranche will be a capital increase for the issuance of 3,665,541 new shares to be allocated free of charge at a ratio of one share for every five old and new shares. The increase by incorporation of reserves will be carried out after the cash increase. The new shares will bear interest from January 1, 2026.

Market Impact

The stock has been stable since the beginning of the year. Structuring the capital increase in this way is interesting for shareholders who will receive a return despite the particular context of the year. The commitment of the majority shareholders is a good sign for the market, and we believe that the market will appreciate this initiative next week.
