Partnership Signed to Launch Training Projects for Tunisians in Italy
A partnership agreement was signed today, June 10, 2024, between the Tunisian Agency for Vocational Training (ATFP), the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI), and the Italian Association of Volunteers for International Service (AVSI) to launch training projects for Tunisians, aiming to facilitate their professional integration in Italy.
Training Focus Areas
The training programs will focus on three main sectors:
- Industrial maintenance
- Welding
- Metal assembly
These areas were chosen to respond to the demand for specialized labor from Italian companies and to combat clandestine immigration.
Program Phases
The program will consist of three phases:
1. Beneficiary Selection
Partners in Tunisia will select program beneficiaries.
2. Professional and Linguistic Training
Training will take place in Tunisia, covering both professional and linguistic skills.
3. Administrative Assistance and Support
Assistance will be provided with administrative formalities, including obtaining entry visas for Italy, as well as support and accompaniment for beneficiaries upon their arrival in Italy.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of:
- Lotfi Dhiab, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training
- Alessandro Prunas, Italian Ambassador to Tunisia
- Representatives from ATFP, ANETI, and AVSI
