New Fee for Vehicle Technical Inspections in Tunisia Starting 2025
As of 2025, every time a vehicle undergoes a technical inspection, its owner will have to pay a fee of 5 dinars to obtain the certificate. This new measure was announced by the Land Transport Technical Agency.
With the introduction of this fee, the cost of technical inspections will increase starting January 2025. The new tariffs will be as follows:
- 36,500 dinars for private cars, motorcycles, tricycles, and quadricycles with engines
- 42 dinars for utility vehicles
- 43,500 dinars for other types of vehicles
This measure is part of Article 15 of the 2025 Finance Law. The revenue generated from this fee will contribute to financing the Social Protection Fund for Agricultural Workers.
