Special Transportation Program for Eid al-Adha 2025
To mark Eid al-Adha in 2025, the Ministry of Transportation has developed an exceptional program in coordination with national and regional land transportation companies.**
Enhanced Transportation Services
- Land transportation companies are authorized to operate additional trips on all their lines and other lines as demanded.
- The National Interurban Transportation Company and regional companies will ensure 3,700 regular trips and 1,100 additional trips on all their lines, representing a 30% increase compared to the regular total offer.**
- The Tunisian National Railway Company (SNCFT) has also developed a program to reinforce trains with 97 additional wagons, in addition to the 169 wagons usually operated. This will provide nearly 20,000 seats, with 17 additional shuttles and 72 regular trips.
Irregular Passenger Transportation
- Louages (private transportation services) will have exceptional authorization to operate on all territories, without restriction of the circulation zone indicated on the operation card, from June 4, 2025, to June 9, 2025.
Monitoring and Control
- The Ministry has assigned control teams to monitor railway stations and louage stations across the country.
- A coordination office with the General Directorate of Land Transportation and regional directorates has been created to organize and ensure the campaign's follow-up.**
- The Minister of Transportation has given instructions to mobilize ministry employees at land transportation stations to ensure the execution of the program and guide travelers.
