Tunisian Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training Announces New Financing Line for Project Holders and SMEs
The Tunisian Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training has announced this morning the opening of registrations for a dedicated financing line for project holders and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This initiative is part of the CAP Emplois program.
Objective of the Initiative
The device is part of a support strategy for economic integration and entrepreneurship, with a clear objective: to encourage job creation and help more Tunisians launch or develop their activities. According to the ministry, registrations will be done exclusively online through a platform made available from May 12, 2026.
Target Audience
The program primarily targets individuals with a project idea, as well as managers of small and medium-sized enterprises wishing to expand their activities or strengthen their treasury. The mechanism provides financing facilities and specific benefits for credits granted to selected projects.
Evaluation Criteria
The files will be evaluated by technical commissions based on several criteria, including the economic viability of the projects and their ability to last over time. In concrete terms, this program can represent an opportunity for young entrepreneurs, freelancers, artisans, or small structures that encounter difficulties in accessing traditional financing from banks.
Additional Information
The ministry has also indicated that interested parties can obtain more information from Initiative spaces or offices of employment and independent work distributed in different regions of the country.
