German Group BHS Tabletop to Create Over 500 Jobs in Tunisia
More than 500 jobs are expected to be created in Tunisia with the arrival of the German group BHS Tabletop. The manufacturer of high-end professional porcelain plans to invest nearly 40 million dinars, with operations expected to start in 2028.
Project Presentation
This project was presented on Tuesday by the group's CEO, Jens Becker, during a meeting with the Minister of Equipment and Housing, in charge of managing the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, Salah Zouari, according to a statement from the ministry. On this occasion, the German leader outlined BHS Tabletop's activities and its implantation program in Tunisia. The first phase of the investment is expected to generate over 500 jobs, marking a new stage in the group's industrial development.
Government Support
The Minister, for his part, ensured that the services of his department will accompany the project by coordinating with the various concerned administrations to accelerate its realization and gather the necessary conditions for its completion.
