Creative Tunisia Launches Innovative Packaging Design Contest
The Creative Tunisia program has launched a design contest aimed at showcasing Tunisian olive oil through innovative packaging solutions, with clay as the primary material.
Contest Details
The contest is open to designers, artisans, visual artists, architects, and creatives working in design, craftsmanship, or packaging. Participation can be individual or collective (maximum three people). Each candidate or collective can submit only one model or a coherent collection of bottles and/or boxes sharing the same conceptual line. The models must be original creations, not previously presented in other contests or exhibitions. Clay must remain the primary element, although other materials can be integrated in a secondary manner.
Objective
Participants are invited to imagine bottles and boxes intended for the packaging and export of Tunisian olive oil, combining creativity and artisanal expertise.
Initiative Background
Supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, in partnership with the National Office of Craftsmanship, this initiative is part of the Tounes Wijhetouna program, with the support of European partners. According to the organizers, it aims to promote local alternatives to imported glass bottles and strengthen the product's image internationally.

The reception of application files is open until January 29, 2026.
