Essoukna Publishes First Quarter 2026 Activity Indicators
The company Essoukna has released its activity indicators for the first quarter of 2026, showing a significant acceleration in its sales pace compared to the same period last year.
Key Figures
- Revenue for the first three months of the year reached 5,164 MTND, up from 3,065 MTND in 2025, representing a 68.4% increase.
- This substantial growth is primarily due to the completion of housing sales, which accounted for 4,564 MTND, whereas no such sales were recorded in the first quarter of 2025.
- Sales of stores and offices also contributed to this performance, with 0,558 MTND.
Drivers of Growth
According to the company's statement, this dynamic is attributed to the obtaining of two acceptance certificates, one for the project located in El Menzah 9 C and the other for the project in La Manouba.
Outlook
Beyond definitive sales, Essoukna reports a combined total of sales and firm commitments reaching 11,015 MTND as of March 31, 2026. These commitments are expected to be finalized during 2026, indicating favorable prospects for the coming months.
Operational Performance
The improvement in activity has had a positive impact on operational profitability indicators. The gross operating surplus (EBE) increased from 0,665 MTBD in the first quarter of 2025 to 1,305 MTD in the same period in 2026. This growth reflects better absorption of fixed costs and improved margins related to recently delivered projects.
Work in Progress and Client Advances
The stock of ongoing work reached 25,357 MTND, up by more than 3 MTND compared to March 31, 2025, indicating progress on construction sites. Client advances (2,104 MTND) covering part of the expenses incurred during the period for work and studies amount to 2,626 MTND. These figures are expected to further boost the stock, which already shows an annual return of 19.09%.
