BIAT Strengthens International Trade and Social Responsibility

As part of its strategy to develop external trade and support Tunisian businesses, the BIAT has announced an agreement with the African Development Bank (AfDB) for a $50 million credit line. This line of credit aims to enhance support for clients operating internationally and facilitate the issuance of "Trade Finance" instruments on a larger scale and geographic coverage, with optimized conditions.

Award for Excellence in Foreign Exchange

In the same spirit of excellence, the BIAT was awarded the title of "Best Bank on the Foreign Exchange Market in Tunisia" by the international magazine Global Finance in 2025. This distinction, received for the fifth consecutive year, highlights the quality of the solutions offered, the responsiveness of the teams, and the technical expertise mobilized to serve businesses.

Social Responsibility at the Heart of BIAT's Strategy

The BIAT continues to promote economic inclusion, sustainable transition, and female entrepreneurship, particularly through the organization of dedicated events. This approach reflects the bank's willingness to play an active role in building a more inclusive society.

Network Expansion and Modernization

The BIAT is pursuing its development by capitalizing on its strengths: a network of 206 agencies, recognized expertise in financial services, and a strong commitment to its stakeholders. It reaffirms, through these results, its desire to remain a reference actor in the service of Tunisia's economic and social development.

Client Proximity and Agency Modernization

In line with its customer proximity initiatives, the BIAT is also continuing to evolve its agency network with the rollout of the new BIAT agency concept. Nearly 60 agencies have already been modernized, with the ambition of offering customers convivial spaces adapted to new uses and centered on advice and digital services.
