UBCI Announces Acquisition of Majority Stake in DAAM TAMWEEL
The Union Bancaire pour le Commerce et l'Industrie (UBCI) informs the Financial Market Council of the signing, on July 4, 2025, of an agreement related to the acquisition of a majority stake in the capital of Société Centre Financier aux Entrepreneurs (CFE), operating under the commercial name DAAM TAMWEEL.
The implementation of this agreement is subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
This move is part of a strategic complementarity and territorial reinforcement logic, in line with national priorities for financial inclusion and local development.
The bank will keep the Financial Market Council informed of any relevant information regarding the acquisition process.
