Special Procedure Announced by Tunisian Embassy in Abu Dhabi to Facilitate Return of Tunisian Citizens

The Tunisian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced a special procedure to help Tunisian citizens residing in the emirate and its attached regions, "Al Ain" and "Al Dhafra", to return to Tunisia. This measure targets Tunisians holding tourist visas or family visit visas who wish to return to their country via flights from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Eligibility and Required Documents

To benefit from this procedure, interested individuals must provide the following documents:

  • A copy of their passport
  • A copy of their visa for the United Arab Emirates or proof of current residence in Saudi Arabia
  • Depending on the type of trip, a copy of the rental contract for those with a tourist visa or a family visit document
  • Proof of flight reservation or planned itinerary
  • A phone number for direct contact, including WhatsApp

Procedure and Coordination

The embassy will transmit these requests to the competent Saudi authorities, in coordination with the Tunisian services in Riyadh, to facilitate the obtaining of land entry visas for those in Saudi Arabia and prepare their return by flights to Tunisia. "This initiative aims to secure the return of our citizens while ensuring compliance with the necessary administrative formalities," the statement emphasizes.

Submission of Requests

Tunisian citizens concerned can send their files to the embassy's official email address: at.abou@diplomatie.gov.tn. This special procedure is designed to simplify the process of obtaining the necessary documents for travel to Tunisia.
