Tunisian President Announces Major Cabinet Reshuffle
On Sunday, August 25, 2024, Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed announced a near-total cabinet reshuffle, appointing new ministers to various portfolios.
New Ministers
The newly appointed ministers are:
- Minister of National Defense: Khaled Sehili
- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad: Mohamed Ali Nafti
- Minister of Health: Mustapha Ferjani
- Minister of Economy and Planning: Samir Abdelhafidh
- Minister of Social Affairs: Issam Lahmer
- Minister of Commerce and Export Development: Samir Abid
- Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Maritime Fisheries: Ezzedine Ben Cheikh
- Minister of Education: Noureddine Nouri
- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research: Mondher Belaïd
- Minister of Youth and Sports: Sadok Mourali
