Launch of a New Online Platform for EU-Funded Projects in Tunisia
A new online platform dedicated to European Union-funded projects in Tunisia was launched on Thursday, May 7, in Tunis. The platform allows users to consult project details, progress levels, and financial and technical data. The goal is to strengthen transparency and monitoring of European actions in the country.

The initiative was presented by the EU Ambassador to Tunisia, Giuseppe Perrone, during a press conference organized on the occasion of Europe Day. According to a statement, the total amount of EU-funded projects in Tunisia is estimated to be around €1.35 billion.
Economic Relations between the EU and Tunisia
Economic relations between the two parties remain strong, with over 3,500 European companies active in Tunisia, contributing to the creation of more than 480,000 jobs.
Cooperation and Partnership
On the cooperation front, the European Union has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing dialogue with Tunisia and strengthening existing partnerships. It has also expressed its willingness to examine Tunisian proposals within the framework of cooperation agreements. Regarding irregular migration, both parties have confirmed their desire to work together, focusing on enhanced cooperation to combat this phenomenon and develop legal and better-regulated migration channels.
