Ministry of Foreign Affairs Announces Two Key Decisions to Boost Tourism and Strengthen International Relations
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad announced two significant decisions yesterday, June 14th:
Decision 1: Visa-Free Entry for Iraqi Nationals
As of June 15th, 2024, holders of ordinary Iraqi passports will be exempt from obtaining a visa to enter Tunisia for tourist visits not exceeding 15 days (and once every 180 days), provided they present a confirmed hotel reservation and a round-trip ticket.
Decision 2: Visa Exemption for Iranian Nationals
Additionally, as of June 15th, 2024, holders of ordinary Iranian passports will be exempt from obtaining a visa to enter Tunisia.
These two decisions aim to facilitate tourism and strengthen ties with both Iraq and Iran.
