Presidential Decree Extends State of Emergency in Tunisia for Another Month
A presidential decree (No. 713/2024) has been published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT), announcing the extension of the state of emergency across the entire national territory for an additional month, from January 1st to January 30th, 2025.
It is worth recalling that the state of emergency has been in effect since November 24, 2015, following a terrorist attack that targeted a presidential guard bus on Mohamed V Avenue in Tunis.
