Framework Cooperation Agreement Signed between Tunisia and Mauritania in Tourism Training

A framework agreement in the field of tourism training was signed on May 7, 2025, between the Agency for Training in Tourism Professions (AFMT) and the Hotel and Tourism School of Mauritania, according to the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, announced on Wednesday. This agreement was signed following a meeting between the Minister of Tourism, Sofiane Tekaya, and the Mauritanian Minister of Commerce and Tourism, Zeinab Ahmednah, as part of his participation in the 8th session of the International Forum on Investment and Trade Financing in Africa (FITA 2025), held in Tunis on May 6 and 7, 2025.

This agreement aims to support the exchange of expertise and experiences in the field of tourism training, develop joint education and training programs, in order to meet market requirements.
