Ramadan Zakat al-Fitr Amount Announced in Tunisia
As the month of Ramadan gradually comes to a close, the amount of Zakat al-Fitr for this year has been officially announced in Tunisia.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Mufti of the Republic, Hichem Ben Mahmoud, indicated that the value of this contribution for the year 1447 of the Hijri calendar, corresponding to 2026, is set at 2 dinars, equivalent to 2000 millimes.
Importance of Timely Contribution
This religious contribution, paid on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, must be handed over before the Eid prayer, scheduled at sunrise. However, the statement clarifies that it is possible to pay it one or two days in advance to facilitate its distribution to those in need.
