National Chamber of Women Business Leaders Hosts Information Day for 7th COMFWB Trade Fair and Conference
The National Chamber of Women Business Leaders organized an information day on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts (UTICA). The event was dedicated to the 7th edition of the COMESA Women in Business (COMFWB) trade fair and conference, which will take place in Tunisia from July 1 to 3, 2026, under the theme "Digital Transformation: A Lever to Take Advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)".

The meeting brought together key figures, including the President of COMFWB, the Vice-President of the organization and President of the National Chamber of Women Business Leaders, and the Executive Director of COMFWB. At the opening, the Executive Director of COMFWB presented the role of the organization, founded in 1993 as an affiliate of COMESA. The Vice-President of the organization and President of the National Chamber of Women Business Leaders highlighted the strategic importance of this event, emphasizing Tunisia's openness to international markets and its willingness to strengthen its integration into the African market. She indicated that the Chamber has implemented a positioning strategy in African networks since 2020, particularly in East Africa, through training, support, and regional integration actions, in partnership with international organizations such as the ILO, GIZ, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
She also mentioned the participation of a Tunisian delegation in Nairobi in 2025, which promoted Tunisian women's skills in the African market, considering the organization of this 7th edition in Tunisia as the culmination of this dynamic.

The day also included a presentation of participation and sponsorship opportunities, as well as the modalities for the presence of Tunisian companies through stands, interventions, promotional actions, and participation in VIP events. An online registration platform was also presented.
