Mixed Committee on Monitoring Approves Financing for 30 Joint Projects between Tunisia and Italy
The Mixed Committee on Monitoring (CMS) of the Tunisia-Italy Cross-Border Cooperation Program recently approved the financing of 30 joint projects in Tunis. These projects will benefit from a grant from the European Union (EU) ranging from €800,000 to €1.2 million.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Planning, 72 Tunisian enterprises, including 9 strategic partners, and 76 Italian companies, including 21 key associates, will participate in the implementation of these projects.
The selected initiatives cover several sectors, including:
- Research and innovation
- Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups
- Environmental protection
- Renewable energy
- Water resource management
- Health
- Youth and women empowerment
- Local governance
These projects aim to strengthen cooperation between Tunisia and Italy, promoting economic development, innovation, and social progress in both countries.
