Air Traffic in Tunisia Sees Significant Growth in First Seven Months of 2024
Air traffic in Tunisia has experienced a significant increase in the first seven months of 2024. According to statistics published by the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports (OACA), the total number of passengers reached 5,297,518, representing a 9.9% growth compared to the same period in 2023.
The number of flights over Tunisian airspace saw a 15.7% increase, reaching 293,351 flights from January to July 2024. This progress marks a significant improvement compared to the previous year.
The total number of flights reached 118,440, a 6% increase compared to the 111,710 flights in 2023.
Airports operated jointly by OACA and TAV welcomed a total of 6,775,978 passengers, marking a 13.2% growth compared to 2023.
