Tunisie Clearing to Conduct Disaster Recovery Exercise

As part of its periodic review of the operational readiness of its Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Tunisie Clearing will perform a real-time switchover of its production system to its backup site with all participants and the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) for the entire day of Friday, January 16, 2026.

To enable participants to test access to the backup site in advance, the Tunisian central securities depository has informed its participants that a switchover to its backup site is scheduled for January 9, 2026, starting at 4:30 PM. Participants will be able to connect to ensure their accessibility via the Tanit CSD, CSD Reports & Dashboard participant access links that will be used for the January 16 exercise.

On the day of the exercise, participants are invited to connect to the various systems of Tunisie Clearing's backup site to resume normal activity. From 8:00 PM onwards, after notification by email, they will need to provide an updated list of technical contacts for the BCP by filling out a specific form made available to the parties involved.

Testing the BCP is not just a compliance exercise. In a real-time digital ecosystem, continuity is synonymous with stability. Tunisie Clearing will ensure that in the event of a cyber, technical, or physical incident, the market can continue to function, thereby protecting the entire real economy that depends on it. This is a matter of systemic responsibility.
