New Buses Arrive in Tunisia to Renew Public Transportation Fleet

On Friday, the port of La Goulette welcomed 158 new buses, representing the second batch of an international order placed with China. This move aims to renew Tunisia's public transportation fleet, as announced by the Ministry of Transport.
Distribution of New Buses
According to the same source, 110 buses will be distributed to regional transportation companies, while 48 buses will join the National Interurban Transportation Company. These vehicles are in addition to the first batch of 134 buses that arrived on February 7, 2026.

- Individual USB ports for charging phones
Background
As a reminder, on February 7, the port of La Goulette received the Chinese ship Yuan Jiang Kou, carrying 134 new buses. This delivery is part of an agreement with China for the acquisition of a total of 461 buses, with future deliveries scheduled according to a precise calendar.
