Tunisian-Algerian Relations: Strengthening Strategic Ties

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ben Ayed, received his Algerian counterpart in charge of the national community abroad, Sofiane Chouaib, on Monday, January 13, 2025, during a working visit to Tunisia.

During this meeting, Mohamed Ben Ayed highlighted the privileged relations between Tunisia and Algeria, emphasizing the deep historical and human ties that unite the two nations. He also stressed the shared willingness of the leaders of both countries to consolidate and further develop these strategic relations, according to a statement from the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Sofiane Chouaib expressed his gratitude for the welcome extended to Algerians residing or staying in Tunisia, while reaffirming the solidity of bilateral ties.
