International Bus Lines Launched by Sntri
Connecting Tunisia and Algeria
The National Interurban Transport Company (Sntri) has launched two new international bus lines between Tunisia and Algeria. The official tariffs are now available.
Tariffs
- Tunis-Alger: one-way ticket costs 120 dinars, return ticket costs 80 dinars
- Tunis-Annaba: one-way ticket costs 40 dinars, return ticket costs 33-34 dinars
Routes and Schedules
The first departure from Tunis to Alger took place on March 12, 2026, with a route passing through El Kef, Tajerouine, Kelaa Senan, Constantine, Sétif, and Bordj Bou Arreridj. The Tunis-Annaba line started on March 13, 2026, serving Béja, Jendouba, Ain Draham, Boush, El Ayoun, El Kala (El Tarf), Ain El Asel, and Ben M’hidi. Each line offers four daily departures on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 7:00 a.m. from Tunis or Annaba.
Travel Requirements
These lines aim to facilitate cross-border travel for family, professional, or tourist trips. A valid passport is required to travel. Reservations can be made at bus stations or through Sntri agencies.
