Tunisia's Central Bank Signs €50 Million Financial Agreement with Italian Deposits and Loans Fund
The Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) officially signed a financial agreement with the Italian Deposits and Loans Fund, "Cassa Depositi e Prestiti", on Wednesday, August 28.
This agreement, worth €50 million, falls within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement signed between Tunisia and Italy in April 2024, aiming to contribute to the financing of the Tunisian state budget support program.
The signing of this agreement marks an important step in the negotiation process between the Central Bank of Tunisia and the Italian Deposits and Loans Fund. It represents the culmination of the efforts deployed by both institutions to strengthen their financial cooperation.
