World Bank Loan of €203 Million Approved by Tunisian Parliament
The Tunisian Parliament has approved a €203 million loan from the World Bank.
This credit is intended to finance the "Tunisia Economic Development Corridor" project, which involves the doubling of National Road No. 13 connecting Kasserine, Sidi Bouzid, and Sfax.
This 6-year project aims to improve infrastructure, reduce inequalities, and stimulate the economy in these regions.
In parallel, the creation of small enterprises will be supported along the road corridor. This ambitious project, with a total cost of $278.8 million, is expected to generate numerous jobs and improve the standard of living of local populations.
