Tunisians Seek Alternatives to RedotPay for Facebook Advertising

Small businesses and media buyers in Tunisia are turning away from RedotPay after Facebook stopped accepting its cards, prompting a search for alternative payment solutions.

Three platforms have emerged as the most popular choices: Bybit, Kast, and Rizon. Each offers digital card services designed to facilitate payments in U.S. dollars and stablecoins such as USDT and USDC.

Bybit, a global cryptocurrency exchange, is widely regarded as the most reliable option. Its card functions like a traditional bank card and is compatible with Facebook Ads. Users can spend cryptocurrency directly or convert it to fiat at the time of payment, with a conversion fee of approximately 0.9 percent. Bybit also offers up to 10 percent cashback for VIP tiers.

Kast, a web3-focused solution, provides similar functionality with slightly lower fees and rewards ranging from three to nine percent. It supports Apple Pay and Google Pay but is considered less battle-tested than Bybit.

Rizon emphasizes self-custody, allowing users to retain control of their funds. While it offers global acceptance and no annual fees, its higher foreign exchange fees and limited support make it less suitable for businesses relying on Facebook advertising.

Digital advertisers in Tunisia are adopting a multi-card approach to reduce risk. Many start with Bybit for stability, scale with Kast for flexibility, and use Rizon only for advanced cryptocurrency management.

Industry observers caution that even with these platforms, Facebook may flag cards, and businesses should remain aware of cryptocurrency volatility and KYC requirements.

With traditional financial solutions becoming less reliable for international payments, these digital card services are gaining traction among Tunisian entrepreneurs seeking uninterrupted access to online advertising platforms.
