Tunisia Mice Day: A Key Event for Business Tourism Professionals

After the expansion of Tunisia's business tourism sector, the Tunisia Convention Bureau (TCB), founded in 2021, is gearing up for its next event on January 23rd in Hammamet. This marks the second edition of the Tunisia Mice Day, organized with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, following the success of the first edition in November 2023.

Three-Pronged Program

The event features three main components:

  • Mice Market: A networking and exchange platform for business tourism professionals
  • Conference: A gathering of experts discussing two key topics: "Inclusive MICE" and "New Trends in MICE"
  • Awards Ceremony: Recognizing outstanding professional achievements in the sector

Prestigious Jury

The jury, presided by Slim Tlatli, former Minister of Tourism and international consultant, comprises:

  • Amel Djait, manager of Dar Jbel rural lodge and journalist
  • Abir Fares, COO of Tunisie.co & Resaprivée, expert in business etiquette and international protocol
  • Abdelkader Boudriga, Professor at IHEC, President of the Circle of Financiers, and international consultant
  • Iheb Beji, CEO of Medianet
  • Taher Osma, former President of FTAV Sud

Awards and Recognition

The jury will award 12 prizes, including:

  • Three awards for the most performing travel agencies in three categories: Events, Congresses, and Incentives
  • Three awards for hotels with the best performances in three categories: Infrastructure and Welcome, Accommodation, and Catering
  • Six special distinctions, awarded by a special jury, honoring professionals in the categories of Alternative Accommodation, Innovative Product, Sustainable Tourism, Catering, and Young Talent.
