Tunisair Handling Takes a New Step in Its Continuous Improvement Strategy
Tunisair Handling has taken a new step in its continuous improvement strategy by launching a program to renew its airport servicing equipment. Passenger buses, electric generators, lifting platforms, air-powered start-up units, baggage carts, and passenger stairs have already been delivered. The new equipment aims to make ground operations more efficient and offer a better experience for passengers.
As of June 2025, a second wave of deliveries is expected. This will include water and sanitary service vehicles, baggage conveyor belts, vehicles dedicated to passengers with mobility, and mobile air conditioning units.
In parallel, Tunisair Handling is negotiating to strengthen its fleet with baggage tractors and aircraft tractors for ground maneuvers.
All these new equipment have been chosen to meet the strictest environmental standards. The stated objective is to reconcile operational efficiency and respect.
