Tunisair Express Opens Two Engineering Positions
Tunisair Express is currently recruiting for two engineering roles. The airline is seeking candidates with expertise in either engineering or aeronautical maintenance, requiring a minimum of two years of experience in the sector.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates may come from various technical backgrounds. Accepted degrees include engineering diplomas in aeronautics, aerospace engineering, mechanics, electronics, or industrial engineering. Applicants must hold a Bac+5 qualification (Master’s level) and be registered with the Tunisian Order of Engineers. The age limit for applicants is 40 years.
However, the ideal profile extends beyond academic credentials. Tunisair Express expects candidates to have a strong command of key tools and regulations related to aviation safety and maintenance. Required competencies include:
- Technical aeronautical English
- Safety Management System (SMS)
- Part M and Part 145 regulations
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis methods
Selection Process
The recruitment process follows a structured, multi-stage evaluation:

Document Review (Out of 50 points):
- Baccalaureate average: Up to 10 points
- Average of the last three years of engineering studies: Up to 30 points
- Professional experience: Up to 10 points (1 point per year)
- Minimum score required to proceed: 25/50

Written Exams (Out of 40 points):
- The top 20 candidates from the document review stage will be invited to sit for written exams.

Oral Interview (Out of 30 points):
- Candidates who pass the written exams will proceed to an oral interview.
The two highest-scoring candidates at the end of the process will be hired.

- Copy of the National Identity Card (CIN)

- Certified true copies of engineering diplomas and transcripts
- Proof of professional experience (internship certificates are not accepted)
- For degrees issued by private or foreign institutions: An official equivalence certificate
