Tunisair's Revenue Sees a Slight Increase in Q1 2025

Tunisair's revenue has recorded a slight increase of 1.3% in the first quarter of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 323.4 million Tunisian dinars (Mtnd), as indicated by the airline's activity indicators published recently on the Tunis Stock Exchange website.

However, the number of passengers transported has decreased by 4%, to 495,195 passengers, during the first three months of the current year.

The indicators also show a 3.8-point rise in the load factor, from 70.5% at the end of March 2024 to 74.3% at the end of March 2025, as well as a 4-point increase in the cargo load factor to 66.3%.

Regarding expenses, the company reported that "fuel costs have dropped by 19% in the first quarter of 2025, due to a 9.1% decrease in volume and an 11.7% decrease in unit price."

The lease of aircraft has increased by 19%, due to the rise in ad-hoc chartering.

Similarly, personnel expenses have increased by 4%, following legal salary increases, despite a 9% reduction in staff due to legal retirement departures.

Regarding debt, it has decreased by 18% due to the settlement of ongoing loans, according to the same source.
