TUI Inaugurates New Offices in Sousse, Tunisia, Strengthening its Presence in the Region
The inauguration of TUI's new offices in Sousse, Tunisia, marks a key milestone in the development of the group's activities in Tunisia. This strategic project positions the city as a major regional hub for TUI's travel services, reinforcing the country's role in the group's international network.
As a global leader in tourism and travel, TUI confirms its ambition to develop high-quality services at the heart of the MENA region through this expansion. The Sousse site becomes a strategic center for managing 320,000 trips per year, improving operational efficiency and consolidating relationships with regional and international partners.
This investment also has positive spin-offs for the local economy. The on-site team of 150 collaborators, working primarily in English and German, essential languages for TUI's operations, are trained to offer excellent services and respond to the growing needs of international clients. "Our collaborators are motivated and enthusiastic, which gives us confidence that our international hub project in Tunisia will succeed," said Simon Cope, Managing Director, during the inauguration ceremony, attended by a team from FIPA Tunisia, TUI's main Tunisian partner.
The opening of this site is part of a long-term strategy to strengthen TUI's presence in emerging markets. Beyond trip management and customer service, the company is also exploring opportunities for collaboration with local actors to enrich its offerings.
This new milestone consolidates a nearly three-decade relationship between TUI and Tunisia. Present in the country since 1995 through a partnership with a local actor, the group continues to invest in the development of the tourism and business travel sector. With this new hub in Sousse, TUI paves the way for a promising future for the travel industry in Tunisia.
