10th Edition of Tunisia's Women Entrepreneurs Awards (FET) Celebrates Exceptional Women
The 10th edition of the Tunisia's Women Entrepreneurs Awards (FET) took place on Monday, February 24, 2025. Organized by Managers magazine, in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and the European Union delegation, the event honored nine distinguished women entrepreneurs for their creativity, resilience, and impact in various sectors.
The Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, Fatma Thabet Chiboub, who attended the ceremony, praised the commitment and determination of the laureates. "These women are exceptional. Tunisian women have always strived to excel. Today, more than ever, all opportunities are available for them to create their own projects and achieve their goals," she declared.
She also highlighted the Ministry of Industry's support for female entrepreneurship, particularly through programs aimed at innovative enterprises and projects with high potential. "In Tunisia, men and women have equal opportunities to succeed. Incentives should not be seen as a deficiency to be filled, but as a means to valorize women's achievements," she emphasized.
The Minister underscored the significant contribution of women entrepreneurs to the national economy, citing examples of success stories where women-led enterprises have achieved growth rates of 30% to 50%. These women have broken codes, particularly in agriculture and industry, and their success testifies to their ability to innovate and thrive in a competitive environment.
The Tunisia's Women Entrepreneurs Awards continue to be a major event for promoting female entrepreneurship, highlighting inspiring journeys and encouraging inclusive growth dynamics.
