Three Tunisian Startups to Represent Tunisia at the Startup World Cup Global Finals in San Francisco
Pwn & Patch, Pixii Motors, and WaterSec will represent Tunisia at the Startup World Cup global finals, scheduled for November in San Francisco. This marks a major international milestone for the three young companies, selected during the Tunisia Digital Summit.
Tunisia will field three representatives at the upcoming Startup World Cup global finals. Pwn & Patch, Pixii Motors, and WaterSec secured their spots following the regional finals held on April 22–23 in Tunis, as part of the 10th edition of the Tunisia Digital Summit. The selection process drew over 160 applications, with ten startups ultimately shortlisted to pitch their ventures before a jury of investors and key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
At the conclusion of the competition, Pwn & Patch took first place. Specializing in cybersecurity, the startup develops solutions focused on offensive security and threat detection, and will be Tunisia’s official contender for the grand prize. Pixii Motors claimed second place, working on sustainable mobility solutions with a strong focus on electric transportation. WaterSec, ranked third, is developing smart water management systems powered by artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT).
A November Showdown in San Francisco
The three startups will head to San Francisco in November 2026 to compete in the global finals. The event schedule features semifinals on November 4 and the grand finale on November 6 at the Hilton San Francisco. The financial stakes are high: the global winner will receive a $1 million investment. According to competition rules, this funding can be structured as equity or a convertible instrument, depending on the startup’s current stage. Beyond the prize money, qualifying offers these Tunisian companies a rare opportunity to compete against innovators from markets worldwide and connect with international investors, strategic partners, and potential clients.
