Tunisia Attracts Investments in Tourism Sector
During the 4th session of 2025 of the Licensing and Approvals Commission of the Tunisian Investment Authority (TIA), held on Monday, May 26, three pre-approvals were issued for the development of tourist accommodation projects. These projects represent a total investment of 176 million Tunisian dinars and will create 421 jobs.
These new initiatives aim to strengthen the country's tourist offerings by modernizing reception infrastructure and responding to the increasing demand from local and foreign visitors.
The meeting also approved a request to change the status of an agricultural land, in accordance with Decree No. 68 of 2022. This measure paves the way for new developments and projects on lands initially intended for agriculture, in order to support economic development and diversify investments.
