Sahel States Alliance Countries to Strengthen Cooperation in Entrepreneurship, Employment, and Vocational Training
The countries of the Sahel States Alliance (SSA), namely Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso, are working on a cooperation agreement in the areas of entrepreneurship, employment, and vocational training. This project was presented by Malian Minister Bagayoko Aminata Traoré during the Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday, October 23.
The protocol aims to exchange good practices, know-how, and information to improve the alignment of training with the needs of the labor market.
This five-year agreement is part of the SSA's roadmap and could have a significant impact on the youth of these countries, who face high unemployment rates and employability challenges.
