Government Council Meeting: Focus on Investment, Job Creation, and Social Policies
The Head of Government, Kamel Madouri, chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Thursday, August 15.
Madouri emphasized that among the government team's priorities are stimulating investment, creating jobs, and strengthening policies and programs aimed at consolidating the social role of the State, in line with the orientations and choices outlined by the President of the Republic.
The Council approved several draft laws and decrees, including those related to the higher education and scientific research sector:
- A draft decree on scientific ethics rules and combating scientific plagiarism in higher education, scientific research, and university publishing.
- A draft decree revising Decree No. 2663 of November 29, 2004, which sets out the composition and powers of the procurement commission established at each university.
- A draft decree on the administrative and financial organization of the National Agency for the Promotion of Scientific Research and its operating modalities.
