Electricity Cut Off in Several Tunisian Governorates for Maintenance Works
Yesterday, Sunday, the electricity supply was cut off in several areas of the governorates of Sousse, Monastir, Mahdia, and Kasserine due to maintenance works on the networks, announced the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (STEG) on Saturday.
Sousse
The electricity cut, scheduled from 8 am to 2 pm, affected areas such as:
- Khezama Ouest
- Sahloul 1 and 2
- Jawhra
- Oued Ghenim
- Zaatir lotissement
- Immeuble Snit Kuriat
- Lotissement des casernes
- Cité Bouhssina route du stade Olympique
- The residential quarter behind the covered hall
Monastir
The power outage, also from 8 am to 2 pm, affected:
- The city of Menzel Harb
- The city of Masjed Issa
- Sahline
- The road to Jemmal Additionally, a prolonged cut until 3 pm occurred in the delegations of Zramdine and Smirate, part of Moknine.
Mahdia
From 8 am to 2 pm, the affected sectors included:
- Jebal Dar Waja
- A part of the 2 Mars street near the Regional Commissariat for Agricultural Development of Sidi Messaoud
- Ibn Jazzar street
- Certain parts of the Ennour city
- Areas of Akwech Dar Cheikh and Akwech Dar Belhaj
- The road to Boumerdas
- The Republic Avenue
Kasserine
The electricity was cut off from 8 am to 4 pm in several localities, including:
- Bouderias and its surroundings
- Bouchebka and its surroundings
- Sahraoui and its surroundings
- Ain Jenane
- Lajred
- Assaidia
- Ratibat
