Head of Government Chairs Ministerial Session to Discuss Public Transportation Development in Tunisia
The Head of Government, Ahmed Hachani, presided over a ministerial session to discuss the development of public transportation in Tunisia.
Following this meeting, the government decided to allocate funds for the purchase of 300 new buses at a total cost of 170 million dinars, and to find solutions to finance 418 additional buses.
It also authorized the acquisition of 700 used buses. To coordinate the technical and financial aspects, an inter-ministerial technical committee was formed, with a particular focus on transitioning to eco-friendly and sustainable transportation.
A permanent committee supervised by the Head of Government will oversee the implementation of these decisions.
